“Making the Next Hit”, is a three-phase online talent competition for singers, producers, and rappers, which shows the behind the scenes process of creating a hit record. The celebrity panel has consisted of rap icon Lil Wayne, and R&B stars Jagged Edge (581 Muzik Groupe). The reality show is now moving into Phase 3 with Jason Pittman aka PIT, producer of “Party Like a Rockstar.” (BET track of the year) All episodes will premiere on WWW.THENEXT.TV.
Contestants will also be judged by top casting directors, talent agents, music executives and local radio personalities. They will compete for an opportunity to star in a national music video, land a recording & distribution deal, a full-page spread in Bout 2 Blow magazine, (through Grip Publications) and an opportunity to perform at the finale in Miami.(The Comedy, Sports, & Hip Hop Celebrity Bash- Fall 2008)
